Just back from 5 fab days in the Lakes and staying at the Gilpin Bridge Inn really made our stay amazing. Super Sunday roast, fabulous full English breakfasts and an amazing team. Everyone there was on hand for whatever we needed. We were gifted the stay by our children and they chose well. Well located for us to charge our car and staff helped us choose perfect days out. In fact if we was to add any change to the Gilpin it would be to add a charger. Thanks to all at the Gilpin Bridge Inn for an enjoyable stay.

Decent Sunday lunch in a very dog friendly pub with lovely staff. Good price main course rather spoiled by an over priced dessert at just south of £7. Not a negative as add both together and the price is still a par, and if you have the set dessert very cheap. All that spoiled the last star was meat a tad dry. Would definitely eat there again

I really like the staff team here as they are very welcoming. Lovely food and quick service from the kitchen, and the choc cherry tart was flipping delicious.

Very expensive for what it is. Kids meals nearly £8 each, it is a large portion but that just means that a lot of food got wasted. Main meals were fine but again over priced. We ate out twice during a four night saty

Called with a last minute booking whilst out and about round the lake district, really wanted a Sunday roast, had a table ready in 15 minutes and food was top notch, could not fault in any way

Friendly staff, nice food and a fair price. Not the best views from the hotel room.
