Such a fantastic venue for our wedding celebrations yesterday. All of our guests, and the photographer, loved it. Such a great location and ambience and the bar and kitchen staff could not have been more helpful. Special thanks to the owner David for stepping in as chauffeur of the magnificent vintage Bentley which is a real bonus, and of course to the lovely manager, Michael, who helped us throughout the day and with all of the planning. Thank you so much.

Beautiful independent pub with good beers and laid back atmosphere. It's located in a very nice street. The decor is quaint. Booking a table was easy and we had a lovely time with a larger group friends. I will definitely be back.

We had our 50 person wedding reception in the intimate upstairs room at the Sekforde. Michael and the whole team were very helpful and accommodating in the lead up to the event, and the food and drink on the day of far surpassed the usual expectations of pub food, with inventive mains and an impressive wine list. Thanks Michael for an exceptional evening!

We went as a group for Sunday Roast. The food was very tasty and the staff helpful and accomodating.

The pubs itself is very nice and unique.

Thought it was good quality and reasonably priced. Would definitely return again.

Such a disappointing experience today at the Sekforde with terrible, slow and unhelpful service from bar staff/servers. The roasts were cold and side dishes brought so late we'd almost finished eating the rest of our roasts. Food quality has really gone downhill with very oily, greasy cauliflower cheese and extremely fatty beef. Now extremely overpriced at £20 for a Sunday roast. Such a shame as previously the Sekforde has been really excellent for food and service and worth the price. We've been many times but sadly won't be returning.

Had a really lovely time at this pub. We booked a table for a large party and we were catered for very well. The staff were very attentive, the food was delicious and it was a lovely Christmas atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend it enough. Definitely go on a Sunday for the roast.

Really wanted to like this pub's food.. Its close to home and the pub itself its beautiful and a nice place to have some drinks with friends.

The food however wasn't up to standard. The fish and chips was OKish but nothing special. The mushy peas were too liquid (I guess that is up to preference?), the chips seemed cooked from frozen. The fish itself was good.

The duck dish was the worst of the two. While the sides and sauce were very good, the duck itself was dry and overcooked, there was no pink left (which you would expect in a duck breast).

The drinks were good. I had wine and my partner a beer.
