Staff seem nice to be fair but very stupid decision to play the cricket over an English champions league game. It’s not like the cricket game was a big event either, was any random game. There was multiple speakers in the pub and it was quite clear to see that there was people watching football on my side of the pub but played the cricket commentary whilst several people was watching the Chelsea game. Made no sense to be quiet honest. Update: The reason to why the cricket was being played is because according to the staff there was more people watching the cricket. This was not the case.

Very nicely set out pub. Tables and menus were a little sticky, but the food was good. I had a southern fried chicken wrap which was nice and hot 🔥 as well as a side of chips 😋. I also got a large glass of house wine for £7.79! What a bargain. Lovely staff too.
The pub was not very busy so I was able to sit and write. The mad thing was that I went and sat in a corner, there were 11 empty tables around me and a couple, chose to sit on the table right next to mine 🤦. However, I just took a breath and carried on. Will I go back? 100%!

I go to this pub regularly and I have got to say there is a member of staff by name of Jordan who has an excellent customer service. He has always been friendly and is never dismissive towards customers, he also is apologetic to customers if the service is slow due to reasons out of his control. I wish all the best for him and that he keeps up his positive attitude towards the customer and receives recognition for this

Tasty and well priced food and drink however my cousin informed the staff that there had been some plastic in his BBQ burger but after putting it aside it he ate it. To his credit, the man who collected the plate asked if there is anything they can do about it but my cousin didn't want to make a scene so said no. However it was disappointing. I was also waiting about 10 minutes minutes while a barman was chatting to an old man about his order when I could have been served quickly.

Enjoyed our visit here. The mixed grill was top notch, apart from the peas. Not knocking the pub for that, but why? There must be a secret society of garden pea lovers, and we are most definitely not paid-up members! At the time of visiting, it has Doom Bar, London Pride and Tribute on tap, as well as the usual lagers. Would visit again.

A fine modern pub featuring a large number of televisions showing the cricket between England and Bangladesh. There is no excuse for missing any match here. Warm friendly service and a good cold pint of lager. This feels like a lively happy place to spend some time having a drink or sampling the extensive and varied food offering. A great place to visit.

Terrible manager - Luke Moore. Going to report him to the head office too. Was extremely rude to my father and I for simply asking on an update of how long the food will be. We asked the waitress for an update and the manager came storming out of the kitchen letting us know that they are busy. We were shocked at his response to a simple question. One of the worst managers I have encountered with 0 customer service skills
