The Limping Fox

Stopped in to join the quiz night and had a very pleasant time (we won). Ordered a caesar salad, which was tasty but a bit gritty. Decent selection of beers on tap and the gins are served in some hefty glass goblets! Charming bar with friendly staff.

Well run restaurant and pub. Large menu of fish and meat dishes. Some combinations overly complicated with competing flavours. Good and reasonable wine list. Attentive staff in a relaxed environment. Enjoyable lm e outing.

Great pub food. Their selection of beers is not the best, but then I guess its a matter of taste.
There is a large garden - suitable for families with young children.

Went for lunch with friends. The food and drinks were nice (when we got them), but the customer service was abysmal. They forgot our drinks repeatedly, there were six of us and our food was served seperatly over an hour from the time the first meal was served to the last.

If they can get their house in order then this would be a nice pub.

Good local foods and beers!

Had a good relaxed time. The outside is so geared up for a good Christmas get together or beer fest or Octoberfest, but not seen anything advertised as such. Out of cider, so loses a star. Don't do that.

The roasts here are top notch. Seriously worth it. I had the roast chicken and without exaggeration, it was the best I've had (sorry Mum). Nice interior too and friendly staff.

I really like this place. The pub is clean, staff friendly and the food is good quality. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the music is often too loud or inappropriate for the clientele / type of evening - think electronic dance music or hard alternative during typical dinner hours with all clientele above the age of 40 😂
