Lovely pub close to Highbury and Islington station.
Nice selection of beers.

Went there on a match day and it was absolutely packed. I called a few days before so I had a table booked. They were very courteous and quite quick service. The food was good especially the chicken wrap and the nachos. The onion rings weren’t very tasty. Aside from that we had a great experience.

Brilliant night! Great ambiance for our event, great food also. We were very well looked after by Rob and his amazing team, who went the extra mile to ensure we all had a lovely evening. Highly recommend.

Popped in here unplanned on the way back from a local event I was attending. As luck would have it there was a game on which I was intending to watch.

I ordered some food. Tried something different. A pizza cone. Seemed nice in its description. A pizza cone with cheesy chips and beef burned ends. Sounded great, looked good too.

The delivery was however way short of expectations. There were and I kid you not two burnt ends mounted on top of a small mountain of liquid cheese drowned chips which unfortunately made the pizza too sickly to eat. All for £23 with a pint. Poor value in my eyes.

The layout was great but have to say the tables were very sticky. Price wise it was also very good. Staff are polite. Nice idea to have TV in the booths.

Staff and beer are great, and the food has always been very decent, too. There are some quirks and interesting features, some old and some new, and it's worth reading the verses on the walls. More than anything, though, the location is fabulous next to Highbury & Islington station, but that also means it gets very busy (especially on matchdays). On the downside, there is no outside seating.

Visited the pub a few days ago. Service was good and one member of staff (Freddie I believe he was called) was particularly welcoming and helpful with helping me and my friends choose drinks and a good meal. Was very pleased with the experience and can’t wait to come back.

We came here to watch the game, the ambient was cool but the food service was really slow and could be done better
