Good Intent

Absolutely amazing, great atmosphere very clean and good facilities. The food did take longer than expected to arrive but for they way it tasted it was worth the price absolutely delicious definitely come here again soon !

This pub serves amazing food! Nice size portions, sizzling hot, good quality and delicious. They have a really varied menu too and good offers throughout the week. I have only been on a weekday lunchtime and the service has always been feel friendly, great and fast.

Nice outdoor under cover seating area with beautiful hanging baskets. Ate off the lunchtime menu. Nice two course options, very reasonably priced. Good selection of beers. Staff were friendly and attentive. Only downside for me personally is that dogs are not welcome inside the pub (but are outside). Will definitely return. Thank you.

Good choice of food at reasonable prices. Loved my beef pie, mash & peas. Same with steak & kidney pudding, mash & peas. Gammon & pineapple very nice too. Proper pub meals. Friendly staff. Clean environment. Cheerful place. Plenty of inside & outside seating.

I visited The Good Intent pub today for lunch with a friend, we was greeted at the bar by a very friendly young lady, who told us that we could take a seat where we wanted and to order at the bar. We grabbed some drinks while there and found a nice table at the top of the restaurant.
We order our food and it arrived within 20 mins food was hot and tasted amazing. We have decided that we would 100% add this to our list of places to come in future.

A great pub with plentiful seating inside and out. There is even a covered outdoor area with lights for night time use. I attend the bi-weekly quiz on a Monday night which is always well attended and has a great host. A great selection of food and drink. I would recon the apple pie.

AWFUL food! Went for Sunday roast. I ordered beef and my boyfriend ordered chicken. It wasn't roast at all! It was pieces of grilled chicken and beef, as well as veggies that looked and tasted as if it was bought from Iceland and defrosted mid way. Though the plate was hot, food was cold and inedible. We left without eating! The toilets were disgusting. Attached is a photo taken as my boyfriend entered the toilet. I'd NEVER go here again!

Food is always decent here though the current menu seems to have fewer veggie choices. Prices, like everywhere, have increased quite a bit but overall it's still a good value experience and the staff are friendly
