If you have not been here before you are missing out, it has arguably the best pizza in London. Coupled with a warm and friendly interior and a spacious outside seating area at the back, it is a must-visit. The staff are absolutely amazing - very welcoming and friendly and who go out of their way to look after you. Adrian especially always remembers us and looks after us. Be sure to visit if you're after some amazing pizza and a great place to drink.

When I first walked in I was warmly welcomed by the nicest person I have met in a long time who turned out to be the owner called Barbara (hopefully I've spelled her name right) I only popped in for a quick drink but ended up staying for a while longer. The building is spectacular and the decor is clean and contemporary varied menu but try the pizza trust me on this the conversation flows freely they have a nice sized outside space which is covered from even the toughest weather I highly recommend this place even if only to visit one of if not the oldest pub in England. By the way they don't accept cash.

Good pizza but the prices are not very clearly explained on the menu. We ordered a metre to share and ended up having to pay twice the amount we thought we would have to based on the menu. The waitress was explained to us how the pricing worked, but said that we should have been told how it was priced when we ordered, which we weren't. The prices on the menu are for a half pizza, not a full pizza. So a metre is 4x the price on the menu. It would be so much simpler to just have the price written out for size. Think it worked out to about £40 for enough pizza to share between four of us. Not amazing value but not terrible.

We were a bit worried what would happen to the place when Santa Maria abandoned ship - but never fear! The pizzas are different, but just as authentic and some really great toppings. We love Gorgonzola and Napoli. Been coming to the red lion for twenty years and I love the way that even when it changes, it is still the same

Time change and things move on. Not the Red Lion that I used to love 10-15 years ago when it was a proper old school pub but the pizzas are very good and the covered outside space is great out the back. A little short on choice of wines but the beer selection is pretty good.

Very good place for pizza and drinks. The staff here are very friendly however the outdoor service was a bit poor. The food was very nice and reasonably priced for what you get. The cocktails are amazing for what you pay for them. Ultimately I was very pleased with everything there

Three times in a row they messed up my order (through Deliveroo). First time, the tiramisù was soaked in alcohol even though it was not listed at all amongst the ingredients. Second time, there was almost no mozzarella in the panuozzo, it was very dry. Third time tonight, the panuozzo had cooked ham cubes instead of Parma ham, and it was charred underneath! I won't order from Pizza Madre again. Shame, as it used to be very good.
