Positive: Good pub next door with good atmosphere and good beer and pub menu. Enjoyed the food I ordered. Staff very helpful. Parking easy.. Negative: Room needed some updating but comfortable..

Called in for the first time after a day out. We were having a lovely time playing a game of hide and seek with one of my little boys toys, quietly in our corner seat, when he hid the toy behind the TV. A man then charged across the pub shouting aggressively at my 4 year old child not to touch the TV - he wasn't in danger, he was being very gentle and careful and he absolutely wasn't being naughty. My little boy was so shocked and scared he burst into tears and we left immediately. After speaking to the lady behind the bar, it seems that this guy was the chef. We will not be calling in again if this is the way the staff speak to the customers, especially well behaved children.

Excellent!
Very good staff, everything super clean and tidy, outside relaxation area was absolutely immaculate.
Young lady behind the bar recommended the best bitter and it was delicious.
There aren't many small village pubs still operating to this level but the boss/bosses of this place deserve a medal, keep up the good work guys.
