The Charcoal

Having visited there in my youth I have some great memories. My recent experience was attending a friend's wake. They catered for the occasion very well and the atmosphere was very comfortable.

It has improved aesthetically, but it's a bit it disappointing now the children's playground has been taken away. Shame it was perfect for me and my wife to relax whilst the kids played outdoors in what was a good pub garden. I hope it returns as we will too.

Decent amount of parking, nice crowd, friendly staff and decent music. However, it's smaller than expected, and could do with a lick of paint. Plus the toilets are minging.

Nice selection of Beers, Lagers, wines and spirits.
No food available, quiz has moved elsewhere.
Conservatory has been converted to a Cake and Coffee room.

Nothing bad to say about this pub. At all. Great area for the children. Great service from a fun staff and some good areas inside, but particularly outside, for the adults. Works best in the summer when they have the BBQ on and lots of well dressed Sidcup clientele are showing off!

Beautiful coffee shop. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Coffee was very nice. They also do a variety of teas. They will soon be doing lunches. Absolutely love the place. Children can play in the play area. There is also a car park.

Fantastic local pub with ample of indoor and outdoor spaces and never feels crowded. Ample of customer car park and has play area for children.

Harvey's bitter on pump clip but its fullers london pride. Not the best pride I've had. Not very well patronised on a tuesday evening. Maybe I chose the wrong day & time to visit.
