What a pub! It must be one of the best in London. Gorgeous interior, fab location, extensive drinks selection and delicious food. Exactly what you'd want from an English pub. Special shout out to Adam, who works there - what an absolute legend. We have been three days in a row on our London trip and will definitely return to The Washington when we come back.

Lovely staff especially the lady serving us for our Sunday dinner. Cannot remember her name sadly but she was amazing. Took time and care with my grandchildren we booked on Sunday 7th August for 1.30pm. Thank you to her for her attention. Food was okay but could be improved for price.

I needed a quick meal as I had to be in a concert down the road - the staff were very accommodating and helpful. I got served very fast and the food was good. Unfortunately dogs are allowed in the pub and there were at one point 4 of them! One kept coming up to my table while I was eating. I'm not sure this is a good move - to allow dogs where food is served, for reasons of hygiene especially and for those who don't really like dogs and their barking it's not a comfortable experience.

Best pub in Belsize Park, it's amazing place to have a beer. Perfect for a date or to hang out with some friends ✨

This is a really lovely place to stop off for food and drink or to hire for a private party.
I was there for a friend's birthday which was in the Martha bar in the basement, I was super impressed with the secret door in the book case, it really put a smile on our faces and added to the fun of the venue.
The staff were all so friendly and couldn't do enough for us and the venue is warm, inviting, comfortable and very clean.
The only reason I didn't rate it a full five stars is because the ladies toilets need some work. One cubicle had no lights and the other had a very wet floor which was caused by a leak.
This was the only downfall, which I might add, will not deter me from returning again. In fact, I look forward to it.
P.S. The wide selection of good quality food and drinks are very reasonably priced

What a beautiful looking pub inside which gives the pub a great vibe. Super friendly staff with table service. Great beer (on tap) and wine selection in a really nice part of town. Quite a varied menu selection also that is Definately worth a try at very reasonable prices. So whats not to like!
Been back here again and i just love everything about this place. Great atmosphere showing the world cup and super friendly owners. I just love an independent pub. Always great to support a local venue

Very friendly staff, great selection of beer, and the snack menu was ace. Decent prices considering where it is. Not too busy when I arrived 3pm ish, but was starting to fill up around half four. Recommend this place if you are in the area, not too far from Chalk Farm or Belsize Park for the tube, although technically Hampstead.
