Been here twice on our holiday. Steak was well cooked and presented. Staff very friendly & helpful, asked if they could take a photo of us and they were very obliging. Breakfast was great! Noticed a busy busy member of staff helping all the boats to moor up, working hard to ensure everyone got in without difficulties. Fantastic! Great place to sit by the river too.

We visited here while staying in the area.
It was friendly and clean with a good choice on the menu.
The food was served in a good time.
Staff were polite and courteous.
The food was fine, as expected in chain establishments. The portion sizes were good.
We only had one course, pasta and a steak.
There was a lovely view of the river. The seating outside on the deck was lovely. Perfect for a summer evening.
There were a number of families there and people with dogs.
The cost was average.

Lovely place. Was helped to moor up and stayed the night. Food was good. Not many choice of beers and none that any of us liked. Was able to get water from next door before moving on. Despite it being a pub, we weren't kept awake as we were right outside. Idyllic place to spend the night.

Just got back from a 3 night stay in horning. We had dinner here twice and would recommend this pub. Food was lovely, plenty to choose from on the menu and didn't have to wait to long. The food was nice and hot good size portions and reasonably priced as well. The staff are nice and friendly as well. Will be back.

The service here is absolutely top class and The New Inn is a real pleasure to visit!

I would recommend this place to anyone 100%!

When we visited the other week we was warmly welcomed by all the staff including Sean, Steve and all the other staff.

The main person we would like to thank though is Alex.. He is an absolute top class bar man and his service is second to none..

It was around mid day or early afternoon and we fancied chips and a cocktail knowing not all pubs could provide one or know how to serve one.. Well that's where we was delighted to meet Alex.. He served us some of the best cheesy chips we have ever had and whipped us up definitely the best Espresso Martini's we had ever had.. Seriously.. Wow.

The pub is a beautiful place with a great atmosphere and it's a nice place to pull up at on the boat or if you are passing that way in the car.

I would give this place and the staff 11 out of 10..

Thank you to all the staff at The New Inn.

Kindest regards and looking forward to the next visit.. :)

Went along to the New Inn for a meal with the family and have to say the food and service was absolutely spot on. I had the best cooked steak I have had in a long while. The rib eye was tender and i asked for medium rare and it was exactly right which is often not the case with pub food. All the food was superb. Would definitely recommend .

We came here with the family last week, along with two dogs(one a rescue), and the Team couldn’t have been more accommodating. The food was fantastic really good quality, wide range of beers/wines/gins to choose from. We managed to catch the end of the sunset too after our meal which made it even more special. There is limited parking outside the pub, but there is free parking at the local village hall.

Called in for lunch today. Husband had the roast turkey and I had the mushroom Wellington. Lovely food, vegetables all cooked beautifully and not overcooked. Served promptly by very nice people. My Wellington was truly delicious. We come back here because the newish management has made so many improvements to the decor and menu. I'm told the range of ales is very good too. Sadly driving so couldn't try any. Best of all the food was piping hot. Should be a given I know, but often served lukewarm on a cold plate. Not here though. Definitely recommend. Dog friendly throughout too.
