Great Stay at the Heathfield Inn,

We arrived on a Thursday for a 1 night stay and there was plenty of parking for our all of our motocycles.

Check-in was swift and easy with clean well made up rooms.

All staff and the owner were fantastic from start to finish. And a very decent breakfast too.

Have been twice now since its been taken over ,have been using the Heathfield for many years as halfway to meet family.
It's the same lovely staff but the menu really really no way as good as before it's not presented as nice choice is very limited.
A meal out is always a treat menunot up to standard

Very friendly pub. Food was amazing sunday lunch had a lot of meat and cauliflower cheese side was yummy. Nice home made chunky chips and fresh scampi. Plus a very naughty tasty choc gateux

Really comfortable bed in a large room. The food was brilliant and not expensive. Owners are new to the Inn and forwarded a genuinely friendly welcome. Would definitely stay here again.

Spent a lovely 15 night here and I could not fault it. The new landlords Steve and Carly were very friendly and accomodating . The rest of the team Mike, Luke and Deb were also lovely, always friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again when I’m in the area.

Had a lovely meal at the heathfield last night. Couldn't fault it at all.. Great little pub. Staff working hard & very helpful. Well done new owners. Keep up the good work

I and some friends went to the Heathfield Inn recently and expected the menu shown on this site. What we experienced was a piece of paper with a menu typed on it - small size servings, not much choice. Service, by Michael, was, as usual, excellent. However, when I went in I had to wait for somebody to appear, when I had a query I also had to wait for somebody to appear. No question of us having puddings - nobody appeared to ask if we wanted them or to show a menu (not shown on the paper we had). Oh, dear, think we'll go somewhere else for our bi-weekly lunch trips!

Booked a table in november for Boxing Day at 2pm to only be told by a member of staff that we didn’t book a table, she was also huffing and puffing in our faces when we was nothing but polite which is very disrespectful, she then came back out from the kitchen and started ‘apologising’ where she said “I’m sorry if I came across as rude but I didn’t start huffing and puffing in your faces” and when we told her that she did do it she walked off and done it again. This place has a terrible rude woman who has just lost the business some customers
