Not recommended at all. Not even worthy of one star. Booked on line for Sunday lunch. Walked in. Stood at the bar. No acknowledgement whatsoever. Lad initially working the computer screen. Then answered the phone. Still ignored us. He got off the phone, joined by woman who also ignored us. She eventually said to him "You serve them" indicating to us. No acknowledgement and she then left him on the computer whilst she went outside for a cigarette. Unbelievable! 4 minutes later ( by which time my wife suggested we walk out) he then asked what we wanted to drink. No apology and the woman continued her cigarette. He said he'd bring the drinks over to our table. We sat there. No drinks. Continued on the computer and then answered the phone! I went to the bar, asked where our drinks were and was shown that they had been poured but sat on a tray behind the bar. The woman came back in and stood with her order notepad and then looked astounded when I said we weren't eating. I stupidly paid for the drinks (which in hindsight I should have just left), but annoyed me so much I took one sip and left. I'm a decent chap. Don't expect anything other than common courtesy and a welcome. Didn't get either here. Not as if the staff were youngsters lacking in any training. To go outside for a cigarette whilst leaving people at the bar was sheer ignorance. No excuse for rudeness. Obviously not going back and will pass this on to our friends. Plenty of other more professional and welcoming establishments.

The food was unbelievable one of the best meals are family has ever had. Complements to the Chef. The staff were very helpful and professional but with a family touch. I Would Highly Recommend for all to try. Thanks folks for an awesome experience. Will Come Again Soon.

Have eaten here 3 times now, never been disappointed. Great menu with a number of dishes with Polish twist. Beautiful tasty food, well presented. Nice garden too with flowers and shrubs in the beds. Well kept Timothy Taylor Landlord bitter. Nothing is too much trouble for the Landlord. Had Beef Guinness Goulash, tender beef and vegetables perfectly seasoned with warming taste of Paprika, no need for any salt & pepper! served with a huge fluffy dumpling. My wife enjoyed Steamed Lentil Dumplings with yoghurt and sweet chilli dressings. Finished on a real high with Cappuccino cheesecake, light and fabulous taste.

Fantastic service and food. I chose the crispy chicken, followed by the sticky toffee pudding and both were delicious. We were served by Caitlin who was super friendly and helpful

Excellent food both dinner and breakfast. Staff really friendly and attentive but without being in your face. Room was nice, quiet, spaceous and well appointed. Bed was quite hard though. Wifi wasn't immediately obvious if there was any (quick check of available networks only showed a BT one you had to pay a fortune for unless you are with BT) . We weren't in the room long enough to need it so we didn't ask but if you rely on WiFi, worth checking in advance in case it's something they don't offer.

A nice welcome, four delicious meals, great environment. Fabulous that so many dishes were or could be made gluten free- a rare treat- and a good range of vegetarian meals as well as "ordinary" ones. Service friendly and good. Seats comfy.
The salad starter was really interesting with lots if different flavours but not too big. Everything nicely presented.
Not even worthy of one star.
