Good Covid protocols in place but would have been good to see staff wearing masks/ visors and social distancing themselves.
I feel this is more a pub for locals; the food we ordered was not available to us (sizzlers) and the server said they had sold out of all varieties. We changed our order but then noticed 45 mins later, sizzlers we’re coming out for other diners. Puzzling.
We dined here as we were traveling on the road and needed a hot lunch stop participating in the ‘Eat out to Help out’, it filled that requirement.

This is our new local pub (moving to the area), and we have visited here 3 times already. Every time we have thoroughly enjoyed our meals, a fantastic massive portion for a good price. Vegetarian and vegan options are particularly special and can see they have really thought about us unlike most pubs! Can't wait to visit again and try their Sunday roasts!

We arrived as a party of 2 kids and 4 adults. The greeting waitress Carly was quite terse in her manner when asking where we would like to sit. We have visited the Cherry Tree before several times with no problems. This time however we were so unhappy with our experience that I feel I needed to add this review. The food was cold and since things such as butter for the bread we're missing. My son in law was told not to help himself to the knives and forks but we were only given 4 sets. The plates were left on the table once we had eaten for an extended amount of time after we had finished eating even though the weather was very warm and the pub was particularly quiet. The waitresses were no where to be seen when waiting at the bar to be served. All I all we had a terrible experience. So much so that we left to go and drink somewhere else.

Just been for a lovely Sunday roast, beef was very nice, good portion sizes and very tasty, homemade Yorkshire pudding was perfect. The desserts were very nice too and great service. 👍 couldn't fault it and will definitely return.

There has been another change of management and I'm impressed. The redecoration has made a huge difference to the feel of the place, and the menu is much improved. The food isn't as cheap as it was but certainly better quality and taste. Will be back!
