The Barley Mow

Pretty disappointed, used to go a lot for the breakfast but the breakfast this time was terrible.

All the food had dried up under the heat lamps, it’s not all you can eat anymore, they put your sausages and bacon on your plate.

However you can have breakfast pizza which I’m sure is great for the kids!

It’s certainly gone downhill…

Very quick service, and despite being busier than you think staff still has time to take drinks (coffees in my case!) to our table. Breakfast was very nice and prices were reasonable

Went here tonight, we didn't book but they managed to find us a table!! The service was EXCELLENT!! Every staff member was literally so nice, the food was perfect, I had a carvery which looked beautiful it was hot and tasty! Partner had a pizza he said it was freshly made and delicious. The kids had burgers and they were cooked to perfection too.
The atmosphere was wonderful and we have both said we will definitely be returning for a meal very soon! Loved the little slices of Orange , Lemon and Lime at the bar. Thank you for a wonderful experience tonight , see you soon.

Chef seemed like she didn't want to be there
The bacon was like rock
Egg should of been fryed but was more like boiled
And the sausage were to crisp
I think it might of been a of day as I've been before today and it was good food but today the only good thing was our coffee and hot chocolate xx

Came in on Saturday night, have been in Barley Mow quite a few times and have never had a issue. Young girl with brown hair on the bar was very friendly and helpful, looks like they had a large party in so staff was busy with them. Stayed quite late, nice atmosphere just a shame to see members of pubs own staff not on duty leaving the area they was sat at a mess, drunk, torn up beer mats, food on floor, not fair for others to clean up after. Other than that a nice pub with play area for our kids. Good selection of food and cater for dietary needs.

Had a fantastic meal and pudding. Riley and Summer were superb servers and were very polite at all times. The menu has loads to choose from and all good value for money. Riley offered a great service of a recommendation for the puddings and Summer brought our drinks to the table swiftly.
Would recommend to anyone to come here and we will definitely be back.

We came for my mom’s Birthday we were shown to our table in by the window .
The food was delicious and hot .
Our daughters pizza was great and my other half had the fish platter & said it was the best pub fish she had had for some time.
Highly recommended by us.
Emily our waitress was very polite and took care of during our visit.
She didn’t stop the whole time we were there she’s a credit to their team.
Will definitely be back

Visited here a few weeks ago with my family and not going to lie was a bit reluctant as we’ve visited other stonehouse pubs and had a terrible experience for a Sunday roast. This did not disappoint. The staff were amazing. So attentive , asking if we needed a high chair , bringing it to the table. Everyone we passed would move to the side to let us through. Small things like bringing over a teaspoon for our little one before we even had to ask. The food was amazing too. So fresh and tasty. Roast potatoes were so good! I’m so happy we had a great experience as we will definitely be visiting again. You can tell customer service is on the forefront here . Young male worker had amazing customer service , didn’t catch his name!
