Cosy pub located in the heart of Cuckfield. Good quality and interesting food choices available on the menu. Staff were friendly and efficient.

I opted for the chicken burger for my main which I was a little disappointed with. It felt a bit lacklustre compared to the beef burger they do. I can't be 100% sure, but felt ill shortly after eating this meal and having checked my photos the chicken may well have been still partly raw (still pink).

Do be aware that they add a 10% tip to the final bill price.

Took my staff for a meal last night. We had bread, olives and some chicken wings to start. Yummy! Followed by tuna steaks and the rösti mains. Both delicious and beautifully presented. Good wine, beer and cider to wash it all down. It was made even better by sitting in the lovely garden.

My friend and I, had an amazing meal here last night. The food was exceptional, the fish cakes were perfect and parmesan and truffle fries, full of flavour, fresh and beautifully cooked. The home made ice cream and chocolate brownies, again, were of a very high standard. The staff were super friendly and really helpful even assisting us with our walking route to Brighton. We also had the best of cup of tea to finish off the evening. Thank you Rose and Crown, we will definitely be back! Caroline and Gemma.

Went for a Sunday roast with my partner and baby. Glad we booked as it was really busy. Lots of locals, and dog friendly. Food was delicious, more than just Sunday roast available.

Lovely setting sat in the beer garden however the sandwich from the lunch menu was below standard. Given the various awards displayed on the walls throughout the pub for exceptional food a simple sandwich should have been no feat for the lunchtime kitchen staff but was left thoroughly disappointed.

Sending the food back completely rubbed the bar staff up the wrong way which was disappointing and expected better.

The food was lovely, quick and friendly service. Impressive menu. Plenty of seating outdoors. Will definitely be visiting again in the future.

One of the nicest menus in West Sussex! Consistent, delicious and creative, my family and I go to the Rose & Crown nearly every weekend. The owner is engaging and friendly, and clearly very passion about making this one of the best pubs in the area.

If you like craft beers, they constantly have guest spots on the taps as well. Rose & Crown is brilliant!
