Stayed at The dog and duck overnight in our camper through BritStops🚐
Was greeted with a warm welcome, smashing roast dinner and friendly pub dog.
Danny even sent us back to the van with enough roast pork for lunch and dinner the next day! Thank you😘

Very old fashioned and difficult to get another pint while he was making another customers dinner. Nice to sit outside in sun though the table we were on had seen better days.

Legendary old skool Biker pub with great atmosphere, great beer and food and regular live music with on site overnight camping available in the field and woods behind the large carpark by prior arrangement.. Regular beer festivals and biker meets but also a great pub for families everyone who enjoys the nostalgia of an old fashioned English village pub... This pub has hardly changed since I 1st came back in the early 70 's..
Amazing..

I liked it... The owner is an ex boxer with a great sense of humour... He served us food even though we came after he'd stopped... Had a lovely pork roast dinner...
Will definitely be going back next time were passing. Thanks ☺

Just popped in for a sandwich but ended up having a ploughman's . Not a fanxy place but very friendly & homely.Very generous portions, tasty and great price. Saw others having hot meals which looked yummy . Definitely going back to try a home cooked pie.

Adding to this as finally managed to get back snd have a Sunday lunch, which was huge and fab...highly recommend..wanted add photo but couldn't see how

Great little pub, very friendly, helpful staff. And worth a visit if not for Danny's cooking alone.
A beautiful sunday roast was served, and a lovely pint

Just with I was there for the bubble and squeak the next day.
Highly recommend
