A warm atmosphere and cozy place, nicely located next to a park and close by the famous bridge and close to Clifton.
The food was descent but nothing extraordinary.
If you are close by and need a pitstop or just around and need a casual drink, go ahead.
If it is a Sunny day their terrace will also be a good option.

Excellent selections of beers, decent menu and friendly staff. Food was tasty and value wasn't bad for the area. Would recommend prebooking. Also has some outdoor seating.

Great for Sunday lunch in the garden and drinks with friends. Really handy to reserve a big table for 12 of us for drinks in the evening! The food is tasty and generous size. The staff are really friendly - Sam is super! I would recommend The Mall for drinks and/or food, before any cafes and other pubs in Clifton. Enjoy!

Visited yesterday for a Sunday roast and it was the best I've had in a long time. My husband and I had the 'Sharing' roast and just wow, bring your appetite. Cocktails were great too! Pub was busy for lunch but the service was fast and super friendly. Thanks to Amelie for being so helpful with her recommendations. They loved our little pooch as well!

Nice staff, cozy atmosphere.
I came to eat the Steak Ale Pie but they run out, instead I ordered a seafood pasta and it was amazing 10/10, I would add a little bit more of pasta, I never see a plate that come with more seafood than pasta. I shouldn’t complain about it haha. My husband’s rib eye steak was the most boring steak I have ever head, not worth the price.

Friendly & quick service, nice decor, good food. We liked that the tortilla chips in the nacho sharer were larger than normal and homemade. Just a shame that one of my prawns hadn’t been deveined properly. Otherwise we like this place!
Dog-friendly, toilets on the ground floor near the kitchens.

Lovely, friendly staff. Good menu choices. Good drinks selection (although a local cider would be nice). Absolutely love the quirky building. We will be back again, next time we stay in Bristol.

A lovely pub with a great selection of items on the menu mostly. It's dog friendly which was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We did come a little later on a Sunday to have a roast with family. As a vegan I was very impressed with the starter of Chipotle Chilli Corn Falafel amazing flavours and tastes. Unfortunately I was a little disappointed that there wasn't a vegan nut roast, it did let down the experience as I had to have a typical burger instead. I can't imagine it would be that hard considering its veggie to make it vegan and just remove the items that aren't e.g. Yorkshire pudding. In fairness the burger was very nice and the pudding was amazing, a lovely surprise to get a good pudding as a vegan which was more of a surprise around the lack of a vegan roast. My girlfriend who had the roast said it was lovely only that the potatoes were a little rubbery but as I say we came a little later on a Sunday so imagine they were a little old by that point. All in all a great place to go that caters for most.
