The small appetite portion of lasagna was OK. The main meal burger was very dry and the same size as a small appetite portion. Not great food I'm afraid compared to other New Forest pubs. We did mention it to the waitress, but nothing was really said or done about our dissatisfaction.

Great pub with a lovely beer garden in a superb setting. Overall good food and good drinks. Quite a small Sunday menu compared to other pubs but the pub classics are on there.

Worth trying to arrive just before 12pm and getting a table outside in the beer garden area. Can get quite busy with up to 45min wait for food!

Look forward to hopefully dining here again soon.

I had wanted to visit this place for a while and when we did it didn't disappoint. Great play area for the children to play and keep entertained, huge beer garden, lovely food and surroundings. Friendly staff. Was surprisingly reasonable when the bill came. Would definitely return

Good location, great seeing ponies in car park, staff helpful, dog friendly. Food however are expensive for what it is, meal was bland and veg dry. Enjoy a drink but give the food a miss.

Surprisingly good pub with a large car park, outdoor seating and play area for any kids. Sunday roast was surprisingly good value and decent quality. That being said, I’ve had better, but it was a great stop off on the drive out of the area.

Lovely little pub walking distance from our stay. Great garden with plenty of seating and a fabulous children's play area - suitable for toddlers age and upwards. Dog friendly with lots of water easily accessible. Friendly and helpful staff. We didn't eat here but saw generous portions of food coming out to those who were.

Wow, better than expected, with all the covid restrictions affecting seating and menu options. There was tons of seating, all distanced, inside and out. There was a good selection of main courses and lighter options. I had steak and ale pie, which was sublime, the chips done well. I knew it used to be a great place but delighted it still is.
