A basic, friendly London boozer. I felt a bit strange to be drinking Timothy Taylor's Landlord in a London pub, but there ya go. The beer was top quality and at £4 a pint was very reasonably priced. The lady behind the bar sorted me out with some scampi and chips which was also very affordable. A great end to a tiring day. I would be happy to call this my local, but I guess I am unlikely to visit again.

Very friendly, community pub with a lively community atmosphere. Food was no nonsense pub grub with a rather nice IPA to wash it down. We also used their overnight parking facility which felt safe and flexible. All in all the right place for us after a day on the motorway on a sweltering hot day.

For some reason this pub and it’s staff think they are in Mayfair with their negative attitude towards people born in the area where it’s situated.
You need to realise you are just another pub in E16 you are no better than any other establishment in that area. You have the same customers most of the pubs in the area have.

Some of the staff have a stinking attitude which seriously needs to be addressed. Staff in here putting up derogatory comments about other local pubs in the area on Facebook is below the belt!
Been in here a few times during this extreme heat. The staff have got fans behind the bar but the customers that are spending their hard earned money have nothing to cool them down.
Ciders and bottle beers running out during the summer? Who’s doing the ordering? Management need to take note of this.

I ordered burger and chips for just under £8. You get better food in Wetherspoons for half the price.

Hope things improve but I don’t see it with the staff in employment right now.

The most amazing "welcome back to the UK" Sunday Roast. Big up Amber and the rest of the crew for making us feel really welcome.

I came here at 5pm because I'd been walking for over an hour and was feeling exhausted—bloody long Covid!

But here I am, five hours and four pints later. If you're looking for a relaxed and friendly local you'll be hard-pressed to find a better one.
