great vibe and service. live music which was really good. only thing I didn't know as a visitor is that they were only selling pizza for food. having said that the pizzas were top notch. very enjoyable evening

Comfortable.
Welcoming chatty friendly locals.
Bar staff polite
Beer garden a little shabby but a nice oasis in summer.
Choice of drinks are limited but adequate.
Outstanding pizzas.

Stayed one night so many things to list, chipped cups, light bulbs missing, dirty sink in room, kettle lid broken (couldn't open to fill) nowhere to hang clothes, no teaspoon or stirrer for drinks, toilet/shower room door wouldn't close, toilet had poo stains & shower very was dirty. Looked like landings & stairs had not been cleaned for a while. Would never stay there again. Not a clean environment.

I wouldn't stay here again for the following:
- Room was unclean
- Room was unprepared
- Staff had not checked the room before letting me go in
- Items from previous people staying there were still in the room
- All plugs in the room except 1 were short circuiting. It was insanely dangerous.
- No breakfast was provided
- WiFi did not work although they have you connect to one. The download speed was so slow that I couldn't open Google without waiting 45 seconds.

Please do not waste your money, just go stay in a travel lodge.

The place is OK, it has a nice garden and wide selection of drinks. The service is not too good, the bartenders should focus on the customers more than they are focusing on chatting to each other.

One of our favourite local pubs, usually a good atmosphere & good choice of beers available. The beer garden is small but nice in the summer. No food available.
