Friendly pub had live music brilliant atmosphere everybody friendly

This place is special. Leave your sense of humour at home though and you won’t survive 2minutes! Welcomed like a bunch of locals (that is they fully took the piss). Really friendly people who seem to live for the craic. One of our group even got to ride one of them like a horse round the courtyard!
Ps. For God’s sake, don’t order a half…

Proper old style English pub. No fuss, no frills, just an excellent atmosphere, great customers and lovely beer.

Stay there quite a lot great place and staff good. Nice ambience to be in.

Great pub, full of happy friendly locals and a resident bull dog. Will defo go back when in coleford!
