Great venue clean and attractive. Staff friendly and polite. Food very tasty and a wonderful varied menu.
We enjoyed a relaxing Sunday roast, we will definitely be returning

Friendly staff, really nice food and broad range to choose from on the menu. Good value for money too. One suggestion would be 'lighter' options on the kids menu such as sandwiches/small filled baguettes or rolls etc however what was offered was good quality.

What a great place! Food excellent and staff very welcoming. Was very quiet on my visit. If you want great food and nice surroundings, make a point of visiting you will not be disappointed.

I'm a wedding photographer and I dont usually leave reviews on the venues that I shoot at but I photographed a wedding here on Saturday for a lovely couple from Broadstairs and I was really impressed with the Rising Sun. On arrival the staff were really friendly and helpful and made me feel welcome. The staff looked after the couple and guests really well and the whole day ran very smoothly. The roast beef dinner was really nice too. Highly recommended

Very nice looking and kept pub. Went here last Saturday for a very nice wedding reception stff we're always prompt beer was £5.25 a pint so not too bad could have been bit cheaper. Will try here for a meal one eve

Wonderfully sublime food. Clearly cooked with a passion. I'd highly recommend the Chateaubriand, I've not tasted as good in years.
The vegetable soup starter was amazing and puddings are to die for. I'm back tonight to try another meal from the menu. I know I will not be disappointed! 10/10 Thank you Carol and Chris 🙏 xx
