Carvery At The Woodman Inn

Sunday Carvery was fabulous. They have spaced out the tables and have screens up, felt very safe. Excellent quality food. Great beer, friendly helpful service, and good prices. Would thoroughly recommend this place.

If you pop there for a beer, they have table service currently, and they have a covered patio outside in the back garden - which is best to book.

Woodman carvory is a lovely place to eat, drink and chill. Recommend the goulash. It was delicious. The pub is very cute and the garden is really lovely. Super tranquil and pretty with comfortable chairs to sit. Staff are friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Jana. I will be back again and again...

We waited 40 minutes for our meal, the others in group had finished eating and we had to chase for our meal.

The excuse we got that the kitchen was short staffed, if this was the case why were we not told about this when we sat down.

It seemed all they were concerned about was the carvery.

The waitresses were pleasant enough! So one more star for them.

Great local Pub. Old, cosy and very warm and inviting. Good friendly staff and food. Always enjoy a visit here.

Food is nice but portions are absolutely tiny and service is poor, won’t come back

Editing to add that the dessert portion was so small it quite literally made me laugh, it was 2 bites of cake and costed £7, I am keeping 2/5 as the food does taste nice but wow the value for money is non existent, time to go home and eat more

Friendly service, vegan roast (nice for Veganuary), able to accommodate large groups of hungry cyclists

She absolutely loved it, the venue was fab, the garden was so cute and we all loved the food too but mainly your warm king professional hospitality. We would definitely book again. We are also coming back as a family to have a meal at the pub soon. Thanks so much for helping us to make our daughters party very special. Everyone was extremely happy and had a good time.
