Lovely pleasant staff, wonderful letting rooms cosy clean and fresh, nothing was too much trouble for these staff here,very friendly, good vodka and coke and beer wasn't bad either 👍👍

Great traditional pub, a log warming fire, a great pint or two of handled pulled traditional bitter.

The staff were great, just the place is in need of sprucing up, it was very dark inside.
The accommodation was down in the grotty section, very cheap but not clean, old plates and dishes left in the room.

3.40 pints are a dream when you're in from the city prices. Lovely staff and some outdoor seating. Been a few times and will be back

Great old pub. Great landlord,s Great beer. And most importantly made to feel very welcome.
