Three of us turned up,’ on spec.’ today having parked nearby.
An excellent welcome. Wonderful staff. A delightful environment. Great facilities. Beautifully cooked food at reasonable prices.
Choices- many dishes from vegan to full meat.
Lots of interesting drinks...but I was driving. Not many places can brew such a decent cup of tea!
We arrived before middle day and already tables were reserved. I recommend you book before you turn up. That surely speaks volumes.

Excellent greeting, atmosphere, food and service. Couldn't have been any better. We were settled at a table straight away. The food took 45 minutes to arrive, but it was well worth waiting for and good value. All in all an excellent meal

Went for lunch with the family sat out the back lovely, staff were so friendly couldn't do enough for us. Have to say 3 of us had half roast chicken with roast potatoes, cooked to perfection and tasty, but for the money I didn't feel it was good value, needed some veg or something. Value for money on our dishes was the only let down, couldn't fault anything else. And overall a Lovely experience it was our wedding anniversary.

We both stayed here and had dinner and both were fantastic. We had a bit of a complicated situation with the hotel but they were very helpful and sorted everything out easily.
The food we had was delicious and the service was great.
All the rooms are gorgeous and come with a bathroom and a mini fridge. The mini fridge is stocked daily with water and fresh milk which is a lovely touch.
If we are ever back in bewdley we'll definitely look at staying here again.

Stayed here for one night. Not impressed, no heating on, had to sleep with some of my clothes on. Condensation running down the windows in the morning.
In my (many) years in hospitality l have never been asked or asked the proprietor of an establishment to turn the heating on. It's always a given.
We had to order breakfast the night before to tell them what we would have. Had to paid upfront for this, but as we were so cold we went home.
The pub in fairness was lovely and cosy with a log fire. A good choice of beers (Didn't have time to sample these unfortunately)
Very disappointing especially after reading the reviews

We ate here today as a family and it was fantastic from start to finish. Attentive waitresses, lovely owner, delicious food and reasonable prices. I have never had a bad meal here ⭐️. Highly recommend!

Lovely old pub with fire, tables and extended at the back. We had the veggie sunday roast, fish soup and soup of the day with cheesy garlic bread. And Pale ale to accompany was very tasty! Freshly cooked food, delicious, served quickly, great service. Would recommend

The service was excellent. The food was nice. Unfortunately, all the times I've visited (4 times), there's always been more than one of the main menu items missing (sold out). Sign of a popular pub, and it's nice to see a business thriving, just unfortunate for the diner. My advice would be to get in for lunch service or an early dinner. Regardless, it's a nice place to eat.
