Nestled in the valley under the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang windmill. They say award winning pies on the menu and they are correct. Best pies we've had in a long time. Not cheap but extremely high quality, well worth it. Be back again in the future.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere, nice and helpful staff. Worth to visit.
Sea bass and tart awesome.
Walking path and bicycle routes around. Picturesque village and area.

A highly popular pub, definitely book ahead if you want the Sunday lunch. Fans of Midsomer Murders will also recognise the pub from one of the episodes. Dogs are welcome and there is a large outside space with tables as well.

Cosy little pub.
Came here for some coffee after a country walk.
I imagine this pub would be very magical at Christmas time.
The pub has a fireplace, inside dining area and a pretty big area of outside tables.
The pub is in the lovely quiet little village of Turville.

Regardless if you are a dog owner or a parent of a child with allergies and food anxieties, this place will deliver miracles! My son did not eat out for years due to his allergy fears, but The Bull & Butcher managed to make him eat an adult portion of a starter and the main.
Also our dog felt at home here.with lots of easy going fiends. We will be back

Amazing pub and food. Soooo welcoming. Their Rocky Horror Show night was cracking fun. Set in a beautiful village and countryside. You really can't go wrong. Make sure you book to avoid disapointment !!!

This was my third visit and it won’t be my last. Love everything about this pub. Besides the amazing food, the staff are fantastic. So attentive and so friendly and of course, it is dog friendly which is great! It was a friend’s 60th birthday today and they went all out with a beautiful birthday plate. See you soon and thanks for a great afternoon

We booked for lunch at this pub and the whole experience was amazing. The food was freshly prepared and we were asked how we wanted everything cooked. It was all very tasty, I recommend the pie! The staff were really friendly and helpful and didn't get annoyed despite our many questions. One of our group has Autism and the staff were non-judgemental, understanding and flexible with her food requests. The staff were also all lovely with our dogs, making us all feel welcome and comfortable. We will definitely be returning.
