A warm welcome from Rob and Sue awaits. Another excellent contribution to Real Ale in the Waterloo area and one to give a visit for sure.

A regular rotation of local ales, a selection of wines and spirits. Good selection of bottled beers and ciders with a friendly atmosphere.

Such a good range of beers and ales. The staff are so lovely and make you feel very welcome. Plus I got to buy a lovely pack of locally roasted coffee! Genuinely has such a chilled atmosphere. Good prices, good beer. I hope to make it a regular spot

Great pub. New to the area so this was our first time here. Super friendly staff, nice relaxed atmosphere, good selection of craft beers, ciders and spirits. Really well priced, think it was a CAMRA pub too. If you are into drinking something other than fosters or Stella definitely check this place out

Boss beer. No more needs saying really! Fab friendly atmosphere. Great banter and everyone is made welcome, plus you can take your furry friends in with you. What's not to like?

Beer is fantastic & the staff are alright too...

By the way Rev Doddy's review is nonsense! I've never had a bad beer & I taste them ALL (true story). Plus I hardly knew anyone in the pub when I started drinking in there, and now I've made lots of new friends! We all talk together & always involve new customers in our conversations!

A very welcoming pub indeed with people who just love to chat & laugh!

Update 25/04 - Glad to report Sue and Rob still as welcoming, knowledgeable and providing great brews to try.

Thanks for the great welcome and plan to see you very soon for more of the same - Cheers x

A real pub offering excellent beers, warm & welcoming atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. None of the usual, unnecessary clutter to be found in modern pubs and a place for great conversation and the opportunity to unwind. Unmissable and some superb local brewery offerings.
