Took a while to find, good selection of ales, quick service at lunchtime including food. Indoor and outdoor seating. Worth a detour to visit.

We went especially to sample the new menu from the new chef as we have heard great things, and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and so well prepared, we ended up having 3 courses as we just wanted to try it all, it was definitely the best meal out we have enjoyed in some time. The service was great, nothing was too much trouble, we were also allowed to bring our dogs in who were welcomed by the friendly staff. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, we will definitely be going back soon to sample the dishes we didn’t get to try.

Great atmosphere, staff, beer and food quality but badly let down by the portion size. 5 of us had the Sunday roast all of which were very small as were the sweets. The roast was £20 per head so very poor value for money. I understand nobody wants food wastage but if the meal is that small it should be half the price.

Recently visited for a dinner with friends, the pub was lovely and cosy with a beautiful fire and the food was delicious! We had starters mains and dessert and each course was amazing! The belly pork in particular was delicious.

Had a great meal here last night. The food was delicious and the service was some of the best we’ve ever had! We will definitely be returning soon.

Posh burger with lovely fries and slaw including a pint or glass of vino collapso for £15? What's not to like? Hard to find but charming rural location was absolutely heaving with folk on a cold October night - most impressed! Service was fast & friendly and the pub had a cheerful ambience. Recommended!!🍺👍

Lovely traditional country pub. Great atmosphere. One slight criticism. We had lunch and both the garnish and side salad had too much vinegar. Otherwise good food.
