I have always had a soft spot for this pub but recently it just seems to get better and better. The team are exceptional and attentive. The atmosphere is well maintained. The food is always timely and of a good quality. A must try if you haven’t already. You won’t be disappointed.

Had a lovely meal here today at the Claregate pub. Staff went up and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Stayed and had drinks as well. Staff were really busy but remained courteous and polite. The pub itself was really clean and the friendly atmosphere was so warming. Well done. Will be returning soon. 👏🏼

We hadn’t been for a while but the food has improved massively and the menu is 200x better than it was - we were out for a meal and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food, only down side was there is a specials menu advertised on your website which wasn’t yet available - we can’t wait to visit you again shortly to try the new specials menu it sounds amazing!!!! Better than your standard Marstons ding food 👏👏

My partner and I had some burgers here last night. They were amazing. The cowboy burger for myself and he had the southern fried chicken one.
Staff were friendly and service was speedy. Thank you.

Visited with a large group (30) for a family celebration. Food was fabulous, massive meals served hot and fresh. The staff were fantastic, really helpful and friendly. They couldn't do enough for us. Thanks so much for helping us celebrate together.

Very nice, clean pub. Friendly bar staff. Great food served till 9pm. Large selection of drinks available. Disabled access to entrance of the pub, and also inside.
Great decor. Pool table and games machines/gamblers available. Toilets are always clean and checked regularly by staff.

Went last night for Festive Fayre - absolutely amazing food, cooked perfectly and served piping hot. Very generous size portions. Staff were efficient, friendly and attentive as always. Great atmosphere and entertainment. Definitely deserve 5+ stars. Definitely recommend a visit.

Met up with my mate for a catch up. Food could not fault it, I had hunters chicken and my friend Linda had fish and chips, piping hot, delicious and the staff couldn't do enough for us. See you all soon 🍺
