Great pint of Timothy Taylor's Bolt Maker. A proper old school English pub & well worth a visit

Firstly a big tip! It's CASH only! Then consider it's only just over a five minute walk from the railway station.
We had a delayed train brilliant find! Cask ale was Bass ( very drinkable) & if we had more time would have tried the other casks including Bolt maker!
Friendly landlord, nice warm cosy pub
Highly recommended!

Great traditional, back street local with a solid fuel fire. 3 cask ales available but all were bitters of similar style (Timothy Taylor Boltmaker, Landlord, and Wye Valley Butty Bach.

Great local pub that deserves all the support available.
Not too many of these genuine small pubs left now, get in while it's still here.
