For someone like me, I can eat for England ( literally ) didn’t think the dish looked a lot, but it was genuinely scrumptious I didn’t eat for the rest of the day!

The taste of this beef was just incredible I’m not a big fan of mash potatoes, but even that tasted spot on!

Highly recommend this restaurant & dog friendly too!

Hopefully one day I’ll be back as I will be stopping again!

Excellent service. Good food though I have to say kedgeree fishcakes are maybe not everyone's thing. All in all very good 👍

The 4th time we've been here.
1st time was fantastic. Very good service and all allergens explained in detail by a lovely member of staff.
2nd time was good but not as fantastic, less of the personal service.
3rd time, about 2 weeks ago wasn't as good. My partner is a celiac and we were told to "look on the website to see allergen information". It's not as if you were very busy, we were the only table for quite a while and when she did look on the website and found something that she'd like, she was told "we don't have that". Also, my gammon and eggs were pretty mundane, my aunties pie was mostly air and my partners curry looked, and had the consistency, of something from the depths of a cat.
And tonight, the 4th visit, we were seated quite close to a couple of young mothers who seemed to be of the impression that it was a Wacky Warehouse. Their kids were shouting and screaming at the top of their lungs. This was extremely "triggering" for us as we'd not too long ago, given birth to our sleeping daughter.
The prices in the 3 Crowns are quite high, for which you'd expect to NOT have out of control children running amok and would like a pleasant, reasonably quiet evening with good service.
Also, one last point, we were charged 12 quid for 2 drinks that we didn't get to drink.
Well done, you've just lost 2 customers.

Food was lovely. A highly different to normal pub grub but without being fancy. Prices were a bit higher than normal I would say but not bad. Staff and atmosphere was great calm mood but attentive and friendly

Okay this place was spot on. I had just a simple pizza and garlic bread, because they're both godly food items.

Service was nice and quick, staff were really friendly and prompt, and the food was delicious. You know when you make noises after a bit of food it's that good? Yeah, this happens here.

Absolutely going back again.

The whole experience was very good. The food was lovely, tasty and good quality. The menu was excellent with plenty of choice, the staff were attentive and helpful getting me extra vegetables, sauce and custard within a couple of minutes of my request. My friend and l were very impressed with our Christmas meal and will definitely becoming back to this venue.
The only thing l can think of to improve was our table was in quite a noisy enclosed area with families, we would of preferred a more quiet area to be seated.

The service from Joe was first class as well as the st I e from the young lady that took our order. The kitchen were flexible when a couple of changes were requested from custard to ice cream. The surrounds are really nice and historical and the price was good. Food was delicious. Highly recommend and will be back.
