The Reindeer Inn

Positive: The owner was lovely and most helpful. We lost our key and he was so helpful offering to lock our room with the master key while we were out and just told us if we found it, to pop it in the post. Nice little bar and the outside seating area was beautiful. We parked on the street right outside the property - easy.. Negative: Felt that the size of the room was really quite small for a double room, and there was a sofa bed in the room too, so how this could ever be a family room is anyones guess. It was quite a job manouvering round the bed to get to the bathroom. Bathroom was small too and the shower door fell off on my husband's hands when he tried to have a shower. Managed to get it back on I think but I declined a shower, just in case! We lost our key to the room and searched the room for it - found an empty coke bottle and sweetie wrapper under the bed - cleaner needs to go to specsavers?? Doesn't instil you with confidence regarding cleanliness, especially with covid going on all around??.

My Wife and I accompanied my Brother in Law and Sister in Law on our first visit to this Public House. The well kept ale and relaxed nature of this pub, made for an enjoyable couple of hours. It appears to be favoured by locals and enables relaxation. I look forward to returning in due course.

We stayed in the small family room and from the photo on the website it had a double bed, but on arrival it had two single beds, the offer of putting them together isn't the same, not ideal..

-just one problem!...super fast kettle but how do you fill it with water easily, had to use mug which is very slow and messy...or am I being a muppet...

I would highly recommend this B&B for a short stay. It is nothing grand but we received a very warm welcome and shown to our room. It was all that we needed for our over night stay. Warm,comfortable and very clean. Although over looking the main road through Southwall it wasn't noisy. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome and Emma,the landlords wife,even dropped us off at Norwood Park where we were going because we couldn't get a taxi which was above and beyond. Great place. Thank you again to all at reindeer for making our stay so pleasant.

Only stayed at the B&B for a few hours after a golf day at nearby Norwood Park. Pub itself very quiet for 10pm-ish on a Saturday night, which was surprising. Owner / landlord very welcoming though and rooms were of a decent standard, clean and well kitted out. Apparently the pub does regular - and popular - curry nights and as such there was quite an aroma of curry in the room. Not too much of a problem, as I am a curry fan, but may be off-putting for other guests.

The owners were so lovely helped by moving there car for us to park outside arrived earlier we were here for a wedding.The rooms were lovely and clean good showers beds comfy.

The owner and the resident manager were really helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble we spent four nights and will stay there again. The Friday night curry was great. The room was well prepared and spotless
