Had a meal here after a walk with our dog. We both had different meals and both were tasteless. No seasoning at all, very bland. It was like they had a Support chef who didn't quite know how to cook. The pudding of apple crumble was lovely, i had ice cream, my wife had custard, but had to send it back as it was like water, again, chef hadn't thickened it.

My mum's 80th birthday today,my brother flew in from N.Zealand,I've come from the west indies,so 16,000 miles in total. My parents and godparents have been going there for years,so we went with the flow NEVER,NEVER,NEVER AGAIN If you want a more detailed explanation of our experience feel free to contact me. Absolutely disgusted with the whole experience As it was a special occasion,I didn't make any comment,but my mum new by the look on my face how I felt.and didn't want to cause a scene in front of the family. Honestly it was embarrassing.

Spent 3 days in birstwith and ate / drank here every day. Friendly attentive staff, fantastic food and hugely dog-friendly. Everything was delicious but the steak pie and Sunday lunch were particularly amazing. Thank you!

Four of us had a smashing get together, the meal, the staff, the venue and company was tremendous. The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much hassle they have a very relaxing can do work ethics.

Called in with friends for lunch on Sunday. Part way stop off on a lovely circular walk around the area. Very good food and well priced. A warm, friendly welcome and fab fish and chips!

Excellent food service was good, it did seem under staffed in the restaurant. The staff that were waiting on tables were polite and professional.

Just had the most amazing Sunday roast at The Station! Beef cooked to perfection, home made Yorkshires and a brilliant selection of veg. We ate with our two young children, the staff were extremely attentive and the service was quick and friendly. The desserts were also delicious. We'll be back soon!

Had Sunday lunch today it was lovely, finally found somewhere that does a proper tasty roast with good quality vegetables. The staff were really good, and it was managed well, they only had two chefs on, so the were sensible and staggered the bookings. We'll done all round. It's hard to get it that right.
