amazing food, i had the katsu chicken burger. highly recommend it was a 10/10. food came out quickly and piping hot. staff are friendly and chatty. we was served by nick who was very helpful and recommended other dishes for our next visit! we had a lovely lunch. thankyou for a 5 star service at a brilliant price:)

Went in to the cross keys, haven't been there in years. From what I witnessed everything has changed for the better. I believe that it changed management since I was last in there before lock down.
I went in there for a drink and have a look at the menu. I ordered the 3 starters for 13 pound and found it very good for the price.
I was served by someone I believe is called anise, I asked her a few questions about the menu and she was very accommodating.
i would definitely recommend the for people to go in for a friendly drink or food for the future.

The visit was uninspiring. Dirty and outdated decor. Paint peeling off the wall and ceiling. Ordered food & drinks off the app. Drinks arrived, with no mention of waiting on food. Spoke to the staff, who were very helpful but flustered by patrons asking how much longer for food. I was told one chef on who was a stand-in. Normal chef on holiday and the chap in the kitchen didn't know the place and was overwhelmed. After 1 hour, I asked again how long for our food. It's just coming, turned into the manager, is coming down to sort it out. Then another 15 minutes before we got our food. In all the time waiting, no one thought to bring over cutlery, so we had to wait for them too. The fish was mostly soggy batter inside. Not overly hot, either. The main problem was clearly a management issue. Who runs a food pub with only one chef and then expects a stand-in to cover 🤔

Went in this place just to check it out, and ended up staying there the whole night! Mainly because it seems to pretty much have it all! Lovely and unique staff, a great range of drinks, speedy and delicious food. Just a fun atmosphere to be in, a place that really makes you feel welcome and comfortable to be in. A proper olde boozer!! :)

Served by Nick and Ali. Absolutely wonderful from start to finish. We basically spent our whole day in there! We had a light lunch. I had a gluten free grilled cheese sandwich. We also had nachos, favourites sharer, Philly cheese steak sandwich. Some of us nipped for a quick film up the road, the rest propped up the bar whilst being very well entertained by fantastic locals and great staff building a fabulous atmosphere. We ended up staying for dinner too! Though my option of half roast chicken wasn’t available, Nick found a way to make it work for me and I got exactly what I wanted with no problems. Portions were great sizes and we found some room for some sharing puddings. Thank you thank you thank you! Next time we’re this way, we will be returning.

Great pub for vegan and vegetarian options, manager made sure we were looked after and was very catering for our dietary needs. Would recommend

We had a motorcycle club meeting at the keys, the staff were very good. Manager was on duty, funny guy. His staff know what they are doing and helped out with food orders and stuff. Top notch. We' be back for future meets.

Lovely small welcoming pub with fantastic food! My partner and were well catered for as a vegetarian and a vegan. Very reasonably priced would highly recommend
