People have been recommending this pub for a while, and finally made the visit! It's way bigger than I thought, plenty of seating in the bar, restaurant, atrium or even outside! The inside is clean and well presented. Welcomed and seated by Roberto who promptly took our order for drinks and food. Our order arrived promptly, food was great and Mandy took very good care of us. Reasonable prices, good value for money. Highly recommended! Will most certainly be visiting again soon!

Wouldn’t even give it one star. Absolutely horrendous. Manager was rude and unwilling to help, stood behind the bar looking miserable the entire time we were there. Didn’t particularly want to complain to her because it was quite clear she hates the place and everyone in it.
Food was undercooked and has now made my son ill.. but they wouldn’t give me a refund telling me that ‘it was ok when it went out’ So suggesting that I had somehow ‘uncooked’ 3 portions of chips and a beef burger. Environmental health are being informed tomorrow.
I spent £40 on 2 adults meals and 1 kids meal, 3 half pints of Diet Coke and we ate practically none of it.
Kids meal was extortionate price and didn’t even come with a drink.
Garden is full of broken benches and old tired play equipment, despite them closing it for months to ‘renovate’ it.
Having run several pubs myself, and having read other reviews and comments about the manager I am absolutely appalled that she has been allowed to continue to run the business. Do the owners not even care?? No wonder the place was empty….

Started going here last year for various family events and enjoyed our visits so much that we've been going regularly since then. The carvery is great and also the evening meals we've had have also been very good. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the landlord always has a chat too. Never been disappointed yet.

Well they're lucky to get 1 star. Went there mid week and service was a complete joke. 6 if us got seated on a table of 4. Asked for menus then had to get main menu ourselves as fed up of waiting. Place wasn't even busy.
Asked for kids menu, didn't have one. Asked for drinks menu, didn't have one. Got told 'We have normal drinks for a bar' Asked for a coffee then told 'oh no we don't do that'
Tried to order couple items off the menu but after not having first couple of items we decided to leave.
Waitress even mentioned negative comments about the establishment. Not what you want to hear from the staff.

Went with friends for a meal at Russellos who are now based there. The meal was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had Battered Haddock, Peas and Chips which were cooked to perfection and couldn't resist a sweet so had Lemon Merigue Pie and Ice Cream, all rinsed down with a Pot of Tea (between 2 of us) and there was enough for us both to have two cups each. It was service with a smile and the staff were very helpful and courteous. It definitely beats many places locally and I would thoroughly recommend them.

Great availability managed to fit us in Sunday lunch time with just a phone call. Bar/restaurant had a really welcoming vibe. All the staff were attentive and friendly. Carvery was lovely, a massive selection of veg too compared to other places. Good value for the price paid

Outside is a bit shabby with potholes and rubbish in the car park but inside is very clean and well laid out. Staff were always on hand and efficient. A hot cup of tea on a cold day was very welcome. Homemade Lasagne and pasta bolognese were hot, fresh and tasted like homemade. It was served within a reasonable time.
Toilets were clean.
We found it by chance as it is off the main road but it is just past the Nene Valley Crematorium, down the lane to the garden centre. Perfect for guests attending funerals.
Menu is much the same as most pubs and prices are reasonable. 2 main meals and a pot of tea was £28.
