We went in for a drink, decided to have a shared ploughman's lunch, wow what a delight. Even brought some home. Very generous portions. Great staff and football on the TV, what more could you ask for 🎃

Dropped in for a quiet drink and the pint was anything but quiet. The music was so loud. We stayed for a couple of games or pool which was nice and the beer was not a bad price and a good range but has to leave because we couldn't hear each other talk. Crazy loud and there wasn't that many in there

First time in since the rework has been done, fantastic place. Got to play with some of the lads on the pool team and the owner which was fun. There was music, a quiz and the food was good also. Highly recommend this place

Love this place best pub in Ripley. The pub is immaculate the beer is kept in first class condition the food is beautiful the staff are all very friendly the pub has a very nice feel to it with 2 wood burners in winter. Its not the cheapest in town but you get what you pay for so if you want cheap drinks then go drink in 1 of the many doss holes in Ripley and leave this place to people who appreciate it.

The price is OK, the taste is good, and the portion is very large. Unfortunately, it's noon time and you can't swipe your card and only accept cash. As a result, I only took my credit card with me that day. I had to let my friend pay for it, which I should have invited her . 😂

Lovely and reasonably priced food. Great sized portions and a nice atmosphere inside. Also nice and clean.

The food was very tasty and great value for money. The barstaff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Very clean, great size, outdoor area with heating. The gin tree was lovely with a good choice of different flavoured Gordon's Gin. Will definitely return.

I came in here with my family on Xmas Eve and we had some food from the festive menu, it was cooked really well I had the rump wellington which was cooked rare if it weren't for the stringy bit running through the middle of it it would have been really nice, but for that price it wasn't bad, however the time it took from starter to main to be on the table was dreadful I think it was over an hour and a half! The staff that served us were really friendly though so that was a bonus.
