Lovely for lunch, tea or just a drink! The staff could have been a little bit more friendly as I felt like I had to be quite formal around them... There's a new park just over the road and you can watch the kids whilst having your burger which is great! The food could have tasted a bit nicer, but that might just be me...

Second visit with my friend for lunch. Lovely menu for Saturday with option of standard menu. Lamb steak meal beautifully cooked and presented, as was the pea risotto with sea bass and scallops...and, as if that wasn't enough!! Try the choc fudge with ice cream or the lightest tiramasu...no need to eat for the rest of day/weekend!! A large glass of house red completed a truly wonderful Saturday lunch for two friends. Lovely staff, everything clean and comfy 🤓

I came here for a Sunday lunch. Friendly and polite staff, the wait for the food wasn't too long and the atmosphere was nice. The food was ok. As a personal preference I'd rather have the meal plated up with the constituent parts separated not stacked up on top of each other and a bit more meat. Had Apple tart / pie with custard for afters. I think the tart had been warmed a little but could have stood a bit more warming. The steel reserved sign on the table needed cleaning and had what still looked like the remnants of the price label still on it and maybe some food.

Salmon meal chosen. Salmon was nicely done and hot but seasonal vegetables broccoli carrots were blanched at best and extremely undercooked. Sea bass dish although the fish itself was very nice the accompaniment of corgettes was swimming in oil and resulted in making the fish soggy. Both dishes were an expensive disappointment. A burger was ordered with a side dish of onion rings. Arrived minus the onion rings but bill was charged with them.
Surroundings were nice but unsure the food could be called the same. Advice is to enjoy a drink but skip the food.

Only been open a couple of weeks with new owners. Great selection of beers (including neck oil), very friendly staff, nice decor and overall a lovely atmosphere…. Dogs and kids welcome 😀 what more does one need? Oh. Except for food, but apparently the kitchen will open on the forth coming weeks.

First Sunday lunch under new ownership! The roast beef was lovely, served pink or cooked through. Fluffy Yorkshire puddings, a variety of vegetables and a large jug of gravy. We even managed the apple crumble with a large jug of fresh custard. Great service from Adam, Katie, Sam and another lady whose name I didn’t catch. This is what Sunday lunch in your local is all about, great atmosphere and excellent food. Well done everyone!

Really pleased The Four Bells has reopened as one of two great pubs in the village of Woodborough. The new landlord and staff are lovely and off to a flying start and wish them all the success they deserve.
