This is a real locals pub. It was a Sunday and nothing much was open, then I spotted a Belhaven Best sign at the bottom of the road. Well, after a thirst making tour or Mary Queen of Scots House, we were desperate. Despite the fact it was full of local men having what was probably their usual Sunday afternoon beer, we were made most welcome, even had a wee history lesson 😁. All import, the beer was good!

Fab night out in here with my new favourite Scottish bar lady, and my new favourite Scottish Nurse on standby in case of beer emergencies! Good beer, and a great crowd made this lone Englishman very, very welcome! Very knowledgeable rugby crowd in here too….perfect for swinging the rugby memories lamp! 🥳👍
