I was there in summer of 2002. Lovely family that make us feel very confortable, despite our different languages. By people like them, we'll always remember Wales as a country full of kindness.

This is our second visit Penny & Derek made our stay a pleasure. They have apartments to suite everyone’s budget - I have never stopped at a holiday apartment so immaculately finished, the converted vicarage is set in the most stunning countryside surroundings, better still they welcomed our Spaniel Eve too.
For my wife and I this is a home from home, exceeded all expectations and some! Many thanks for having us back x
Worthy a visit.
Burry Port is a worthy 38 minute drive to a stunning beach which is dog friendly After looking at other local beaches we found this to be best for locality and practicality. Miles of sand and sea for our little dog to play.

Small atmospheric presence makes this little quaint village pub feel cosy and comfortable.
Service is friendly and polite, and the food is delicious.
Good pub quiz every 1st Wednesday of month.
Only not getting 5 stars as service could tend to be a bit slow as there was only 1 person serving it seems.

Cosy, friendly pub with a well decorated restaurant with log burner. We all enjoy a delicious home cooked meal. The pub is wheelchair accessible and has an accessible wc. We called ahead and the ramp was put at the front door to make access possible. Great find in a little hamlet in the Welsh Hills.
