Just a great pub. Lovely old building with a wealth of history. Always a welcome. A good choice of well kept ales.
And the food is excellent. One of the best Vale pubs

As usual, good food and beer, and a large garden to enjoy the sunshine. Perhaps the menu not quite as imaginative as it has been in the past. I believe the place has changed hands recently. Had lunch in the large garden - probably be the last al fresco lunch this year!

Went here several years ago absolutely loved this pub fab food fab atmosphere and a totally brilliant experience look forward too coming back again.

Warm welcome, attentive staff, delicious homemade food, ( best steak and ale pie I have had in a long time) and dog friendly …and a brilliant place to rest having done a short beach walk

Nice, local atmosphere, good quality food and decent portions. Pub has a great, old local feel.

Had lunch here 2 days before Christmas, the bar man was amazing nothing was a problem, food was excellent and the recommended Christmas ale was perfect.

Lovely friendly pub and the homemade food was amazing. We stayed in one of the cottages opposite and that was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Thankyou and keep up the good work everyone of you
