The Lyceum Tavern

Lovely pub, the landlord/lady were very welcoming, came here when staying in the ibis hotel because the reviews were good and well deserved. The food was amazing large portion and very reasonable prices, good selection of beer. The place is very lively. Very enjoyable.

In my top five pubs. Staff are friendly and welcoming, other customers are friendly and the food is a true representation of the price! Great experience all round and look forward to coming again!

Not somewhere that comes to mind when looking for a Sunday roast but oh my god it was so good. The service, quality of food and value for money was exceptional. Definitely deserves its 3rd place in the Argus top 10 - highly recommended

First time going here. Went for a birthday party and the pub supplied food. The curry was out of this world. Drinks cheap and staff friendly. Would definitely go here again
