A great Fish n chips if you are in Queen Street as it's just off the end of it. Smaller wetherspoon than usual and it was quite busy but still served in a reasonable time.

It's a Wetherspoons so pretty standard stuff on that front. The door staff were a little rude as we visited with our 14 year old son early evening, and they were quite abrupt about saying he wasn't allowed in until we explained we wanted food.... Manners would be nice! Plus it's the most expensive Spoons I've been to outside of London so might not visit again to be fair.

Typical spoons, great drinks and prices. Ordered a pizza, tasted good but the base, well it wasn't soggy but come on at least cook it so it's not a floppy mass

It’s a good ‘Spoons. Not much more to be said to be honest. Consistently decent food, but during uni term time it can get packed. I’d advise sitting upstairs in a booth if you can, that’s lovely.

Took over an hour to be served food, but in their defence the kitchen was very short staffed. This seems to only be the case at this particular branch. However, waitress was so apologetic and genuine and I could not have faulted her. Despite the wait, the food was hot and tasty. It wouldn't have been an issue for me but my two young daughters waited patiently for their food to turn up, which isn't ideal when they were hungry.

Nothing wrong with the bar itself, but the large breakfast was stone cold and tastless for both myself and my wife. We've eaten there plenty of times before, and the main meals were fine.
