Stayed for one night while working away. The bed was nice and the shower was great, can't remember when I last had one with the pressure it had! As far as the room itself, it's dated but so is the hotel since it's a historical building so wouldn't expect anything else and thought it was pretty cool. The food was great! The double cheese burger was huge and the breakfast was spot on. The service was nice and welcoming. I could see the car park being an issue as it was nearly full when I arrived but can't do anything about that. I will definitely look into staying here again if I'm ever working out this way again.

We went Monday 25th July. Stopped off for food, exactly what we were after, good pub grub with 3 kids in tow. Food was good quality and plentiful. Staff were very friendly and good service, particularly the gentleman serving in the restaurant area.

I stayed for 2 nights - my room was small but with a good sized bathroom and clean and tidy. I was not always able to park in the Bull car park but there is a pay and display next door (8am - 8pm). The service was friendly but rather slow but I was joined by friends on the Saturday evening for a meal and we all thought the food very good. I would stay again

Beautiful outside, run down on the inside. The ceiling in the breakfast room was literally falling down. Rooms & bathrooms were dirty. It's such a shame because the location and structure of the building would deserve much more.

We are staying here for a week. Llangefni is a small but beautiful little town and the Bull Hotel is in the centre of it. It is a beautiful building with a private car park but the inside of the building is in need of some refurbishment. The staff are friendly and helpful and can't do enough for you. The cooked breakfast we had was well cooked and plentiful (especially the bacon), but they also offer vegetarian and vegan options too as well as a continental breakfast. Evening meals are not on offer at the time we are staying so I am unable to comment on this. All in all a nice, friendly no frills place to stay.

We were booked in for a three night stay.
We parked in the private car park at the rear of the hotel and straight away things didn't look good.
Cigarette butts everywhere which left one thinking 'how secure is our car going to be?, because it looked like a local hang out for yobs.
The tops off the aco drains (rain run off's), were either missing or standing on their edge, being made from steel, you had to manoeuvre around them to avoid a puncher.
The entrance door at the rear for reception was a total disaster area, with rubbish a trash everywhere.
The rear doors were in a dreadful state and the handles were grubby and very worn.
Inside, there was a smell of dirty carpets, beer, cigarettes and stale air.
We're told that the chef was on a break for our first two morning's so the only breakfast on offer would be continental made by the duty manager, I don't like continental food, so the other option was to visit a local cafè.
When we were looking on the web site at recent reviews, we were very impressed with what was on offer on the hotel menu.
Unfortunately the kitchen was closed, but looking at the disgusting state of it, it probably saved us from a bad bout of food poisoning.
We were checked in and told where our room was on the first floor.
The lobby carpet was supposed to be of a red floral design, but it looked like it had been used by the local builders to clean there boot's on.
So far, not good, but we hoped the room would be ok, nope, the entire journey to our room smelt damp and very old and grubby.
We entered our room, tired, but clean it was supposed to be, untidy, dirty, noisy creeky bed and dirt is what awaited us, how could a hotel be in such a bad state?.
The bed was so hard you may as well just sleep on the floor.
If you turned slightly on the bed it made so much noise that sleep would have been impossible.
Single pane widows with a crude secondary set of sliding windows were supposed to keep you warm and keep the street noise out, it failed miserably.
We both decided straight away that this was NOT as we had read regarding the condition of the hotel and a full kitchen serving hot food, it didn't come close, I have seen better sqatts on tv than this hotel.
We returned our door key and promptly left.

The room was for my son as he and his girlfriend split up. The room is great it doesn't have services but there is a beautiful restaurant downstairs. Xx

Recently (December 2022) brought by new owner who has invested a lot into refurbishing this beautiful hotel. He has also brought back the previous local staff, Emrys and his team. Keep checking for more updates........
