We had Sunday lunch with friends today and all chose roast beef. The beef was very tender and tasty, the roast potatoes nice and crispy with plenty of vege and a perfect Yorkshire pudding. The red wine was good too. It was a very relaxed meal with friendly service and very good value.

Had a great 🎻acoustic jam🎸 there on Friday night with "The Jam Butties." Guinnesses were spot on, with friendly folk and a great 'everyone welcome' 🎶 sing-song. Thanks all!

Lovely friendly pub and staff with great Friday music evening with locals playing instruments and singing, who also welcomed a fab husband and wife duo visiting from Yorkshire. Will definitely visit again👍

2nd night we've been in for drinks and basket meals. A very friendly pub with a welcoming atmosphere. Great value, great food, great service - highly recommended.

5/5 Avril and the girls work hard to bring out a slap up sunday roast. With all the trimmings. You won't go hungry here!! Very tasty as well.

Well I wasn't expecting that. Sunday Lunch was FANTASTIC. Great staff and freshly cooked dinner. EXCELLENT PLACE. Avril ? and the ladies did us proud Thank you so much
