Beautiful building. Very cosy and special. You don't see well-thought-out traditional style pubs like this very often these days. Reasonably priced drinks. Very good homemade food. Real log fire. Just a shame about the early closing time. Will definitely be back. A local gem!

Lovely place, needed a table as a surprise visit. (I Live in Essex and my parents live in Crynant,) they had no idea we were driving down 230 miles to be with them for their 56th wedding anniversary on new years eve. The Gradon sorted us out a table right next to them and managed to keep it secret. We had a great evening and the hospitality was brilliant. Thank you so much

Fantastic pub. Lots of parking and plenty of room inside and outside. Beautiful building with comfy seating areas and proper tables to sit at. Always very clean.
The staff are very friendly and there's a good choice of food and drinks at good prices. It's a family friendly pub - including dogs.
It has a restaurant upstairs which we will be eating in the very near future.
It's a very welcoming place.

Sunday dinner review. Terrible food veg portions were small don't think the meat had even seen a field, expensive and waited 45 minutes to get served. Will be avoiding in the future.

Staff were lovely, the atmosphere is great and food was tasty. Portions are great as well. Only negative for me was the lack of veg with my meal. It said it came with seasonal veg but all I got was loads of peas. A friend had the steak & it was amazing. Just melted but he was also hoping for more veg.

Poor service. Had to ask for menu and ask for bill twice. False advertising online for an early bird menu as there wasn't one. Main course was served in a dish, meal was only OK, walls were semi painted. Will not be going back

A top class village pub, with a restaurant that serves quality food with a full range menu.
Tasty and affordable food, warm welcome and a great atmosphere. Staff are always happy to help. Great place, definitely return.

Waited 30 mins to pick up a take away Sunday roast, despite turning up when told. No one manning downstairs bar, just a bell to ring hoping someone may hear your call. Food was acceptable, but not worth the wait.
