Under new management, surprised they never changed the name, as the old management left a lot to be desired. Carrying baggage from the old friendly. Very nicely refurbished and seems a much better crowd in there now. Very poor choice of ales though. Not eaten there yet but intend to soon. I also like that dogs only allowed in beer garden.

We've eaten here a few times since the pub has reopened. The food is fantastic, and the Sunday roast is the best we've had. The refurbishment is great, the place looks lovely. Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. We would highly recommend a visit.

Four of us dined here at the weekend.
We were all happy with our food, very tasty and price was very reasonable also.
The two waitresses were Fab!

Friday night dinner with teens. Easy booking. Great to see it looking smart inside- love the wallpaper. We were a party of 5. Seated at a v large square table which felt that we were all far apart and this made conversation over the noise and music difficult. Table felt sticky. Food was nice enough though on the more expensive side. May go again but choose a quieter time.

Really nice friendly pub & staff very friendly too. Me & my pal went last nite & we both had the Hunters Chicken, Wow! It was amazing!

Average food and slow service. We booked a table for 6.30pm. There was a limited menu with no vegetarian options but the staff managed to cobble together a vegan burger. Surprisingly limited range of beer and wine. The service was very slow - we spent most of the evening waiting for food. When the food finally appeared it was neither good nor bad - just acceptable. The pub is under new management so maybe these were teething issues but the management didn't appear to be too concerned. They probably think they were doing fine. Not planning another visit any time soon.

This pub used to have a dartboard.
This pub used to have a pool table.
This pub used to have handpumps.
It is no longer a pub. It is yet another restaurant with a bar.
I am not sure if you can go in for a beer only.
That said the Beavertown IPA was nice.

Great night out with friends, it was pizza night and they were beautiful, good selection of drinks, service was good, bit slow but they were very busy and kept a smile on their faces 😉
