The Yacht

Enjoyed the carvery. The young people taking drinks orders were rather slow and appeared to be in a world of their own. We were a party of 3 and 2 of us were served our drinks about 5 minutes after ordering but the 3rd person waited about 15 minutes which is not really acceptable. We did ask where her drink was and the response was we are busy it's on the way. We were told there was no mashed potatoes but a party who came in after us asked about mash and were served them. Was it a case of if regular customers they were given priority but if staff don't know you they can't or won't provide the service.

Disgusting treatment after waiting 20 mins for drinks and an hour and a half for food we were asked to leave we booked a table for 5.45 a family of 6 was told sit anywhere, we had a diabetic with us who can't sit and wait for 1hour and a half for a piece of steak that was ordered to be cooked well done and come with blood all over the plate, after asking for them to be cooked more we were asked to leave there was another family who had the same issues food cold, coming out at different times wrong orders and a feather found in a child's meal, the manager came from upstairs in lounge wear and no shoes on, ( this is a restaurant u don't walk round in no shoes, dirty folks, bad mannered staff never would i step foot in this place again avoid at all cost, ill mannered response cooking to order doesn't take 1 and half hours to cook a steak you just couldn't handle what was unfolding

4 of us had a lovely meal and few drinks Guinness was spot on 👌 staff are polite and really look after you, carvery was to die for and recommend it will defo be returning next week. Thank you 👍👌👌

Excellent food ,2 serloin steaks and all the trimmings for £18 cooked to perfection you cant go wrong at the Yacht ,pleasant waitresses thank you all very much Tony from Wrexham

Just been into this little place all the staff were lovely and the food (which was a carvery) was absolutely gorgeous, plus so reasonably priced, Wish we’d found it sooner

After missing last year due to lockdown our family were able to enjoy Christmas Day lunch at the Yacht. Once again we all enjoyed a wonderful fresh cooked 3 course meal that was tasty, plentiful and fantastic value. The service was excellent as usual. There was even a beautiful monogrammed gift for our 3 year old granddaughter. Thank you to Graham, Ursula and the team for being part of our family Christmas celebration.
