As a pub restaurant I was impressed by the range of on menu and various specials available. And service was decent and attentive sat in rear restaurant area.
I made a mistake in not going for Venison steak special and other's starters were all impressive and good portion sizes.
Of the deserts the cheese board was huge for 1 person and good value at same £4.50 as other desserts.
I however had (slightly disappointing) pulled pork and chorizo topped burger + then warm chocolate fudge cake with ice cream.
Overall would give it a 'good' 4/5 stars, but might have made it to 5/5 if I'd had the venison steak that other person in our group had.

Friendly staff but not impressed with the food. Pulled pork burger was a beef burger with a bit of pulled pork, rare to medium steak was way over cooked. Food was all very quick to arrive which was very odd. Pricy too.

Tables were crammed in - if it had been busy we would have been very close to those next to us. Too much choice on menu which raises concerns about how freshly cooked the food was. Would suggest reducing menu options and number of tables. Felt a bit like 1988.

Very comfortable surroundings. The restaurant was lovely, our meal came quickly and was delicious, l had the chicken curry. It's ground level but has a few steps to enter the pub.but is fine for wheelchair users Lovely toilets, including a disabled one, clean well kept. Pub is good for children, good variety of food including vegetarian options. They dont deliver. Has a beer garden as well. We enjoyed our evening.

A quiet Thursday night. Piping hot food. Maybe on the pricey side for a pub but very good choice.

A popular local pub located close to Rhiwbina village, traditional decor, good range of ales, multiple screens showing live football.

Had 2 years of lovely Xmas meals here. If it weren't too far away I'd make the effort to go for food here more often.

Potential to be a great pub. Needs a decent clean out. Get rid of the loud, aging pool table chavs They smell as bad as their language.
