Pub On The Pond

Pleasant and polite staff, but a gross shortage of them. Drinks overpriced, limited choice of ales and a very long wait to be served at the bar. Food mediocre and uninspiring. Outdoor seating area always cluttered with empty glasses. Don’t allow glass drinking vessels outside which means mandatory disposable plastic cups. Music dreadful.

We went for lunch after a round of crazy golf. The place is nice enough. We ordered easily on the app. Food was standard pub food. It's not haute cuisine but it's ok. It was certainly very filling.

Interior is very nice and tidy. Also, I would like to admit a playlist, music was great and created a really good atmosphere. The place looks clean , except for the cobwebs and spiders that were above my head (not like a Halloween decoration😅)

Delicious food. We had their signature Hunter's chicken and half kilo chicken wings. Both were amazing

Decent breakfast, lovely coffee, reasonably priced. Barman was a bit grumpy initially but managed to raise a smile before we left so I'll let him off!! Would definitely go back. Large pay and display carpark behind, the beach a short distance in front, perfect for a post breakfast stroll.

If I could give this less I would. Been going here since 2008. Its passed on to many mangers and it's just gone down hill. Thought we would give it another try and i was so disappointed food is a joke kids pizza is a cheap microwave one and the toilets are disgusting. Seriously upsetting because we had some fab memories here. But uneless you want a dirty restroom and rubbish food don't go

Terrible service by the two girls who clearly didn't have a clue what they were doing. All our meals were pre ordered and still wrong. When we brought this up they persisted to tell us they had checked woth us 10 mins ago that the orders were right. To which we explained what we discussed was not what you brought out. Very inedible food I would never return

Myself and the family went on Christmas day fir our Christmas lunch,it was the first time we'd had our Christmas lunch out but I want to thank all the staff for a wonderful day. Every course we had was absolutely fabulous and we will definitely be booking again this year
